Students began their preparation for their mini 4. They read the story "Beulah Henry, Inventor." View the photo to the left for the assignment instructions. The assignments for the entire week are in the file below.
HOMEWORK: Begin Unit 5 Week 1 vocab, due Friday
If you received <89 on your vocab test from Thursday, you may raise the grade by completing the worksheet (BELOW) and turning it in tomorrow. It is your choice whether you want to do it or not. I will not accept it if it is incomplete. Not being able to access Skyward is not a reason to not complete the assignment. Complete it anyway!

Students reviewed the two learning goals (below) we have been working on. Next students reviewed the steps in the Writing Process.
- Prewriting - Planning
- Drafting - Writing
- Revising - Fixing Content
- Editing - Fixing Conventions
- Publishing - Rewriting
When editing, the four conventions we fix are: spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and grammar.
Next, students completed their plans for the mini 4. They unPACked the prompt, and planned out what each paragraph should contain (see photo above.)
