Today students composed their mini assessment #3. Students were given 45 minutes to write a well-composed essay.
Prompt: Compare Linnie’s attitude towards horses with Manuel’s attitude about being a kept horse. Do you think Linnie and Manuel would have been compatible? Would Linnie’s ideas about owning a horse change? Use details from both passages to support your answer.

Today students were challenged to write a narrative following the prompt below. Students must include one vocab word (from any unit we have covered so far) in each paragraph in the narrative. There is an example narrative posted below as well.
