Singular - One
Plural - More than one
To clarify, the four ways to use an apostrophe are:
Singular Possessive, Plural Possessive, Contractions, and Possessive for Names Ending in "s."
Not just names ending in "s" - they MUST be possessive.
Students completed their macaroni posters.
HOMEWORK: Begin Unit 10 Week 2, due Friday.

Students participated in a review of sentence structure (click Start Prezi to view Simpson's lesson below.) Students then composed a fan letter to their favorite candy company. Students had to use a minimum of two simple, one compound, and one complex sentence. Students wrote in letter form.

Students read the stories "Perfectly Imperfect" and "Narcissus." Students discussed the stories aloud and began comprehension/comparison questions in preparation for our mini 8. See file below for the stories and the questions, #17 and #18.

PROMPT: Cassandra and Narcissus had distorted views on the importance of physical beauty. Write a letter from Cassandra to Narcissus (before his death) in which she tries to convince Narcissus that there is more than one kind of beauty to live for. Use evidence from both passages to support your answer.
