Students began working with commas. They watched a Flocabulary video on commas. Students worked in their groups to compose example sentences for each comma rule. One student from each group came up to the front whiteboard and wrote their example on the board, WITHOUT the commas. Students from other groups had to come up and correctly place the magnetic commas and cite the rule being exemplified.
